Mazatlán: Historic and Tourism Guide
The cover photograph on this book is one of my all-time favorites. Taken with a spare camera that I kept in the glove box of my car, we drove to the lighthouse every morning at sunrise so that we could climb it. And every morning for years we saw this wonderful man fishing. Then, sadly, one day, he never came again. It broke my heart. In the original composition of this photograph, a bicycle is to his left.
